我国原木和锯材的进口主要是优质大径级用材。而现在随着各国对大径级、珍贵木材产品需求的增长,大径级、珍贵树种用材资源已成为重要的战略资源,成为世界木材市场的竞争焦点之一。同时,出于对天然林和物种的保护、国家利益的需要以及迫于国际上环保组织的压力,木材出口国已普遍加大力度保护本国森林资源。因此我国要从木材战略储备的高度出发,加快大径级、珍贵用材特别是阔叶用材的人工造林。
China’s imports of logs and sawn timber is mainly high-quality large-diameter timber. Nowadays, with the growth of demand for large-diameter and precious wood products in various countries, the resources of large-diameter and precious tree species have become important strategic resources and become the focus of competition in the world’s timber market. At the same time, due to the protection of natural forests and species, the need of national interests and the pressure from environmental protection organizations all over the world, timber exporting countries have generally increased their efforts to protect their forest resources. Therefore, our country should start from the strategic height of timber and accelerate the afforestation of large-diameter and precious timber, especially broadleaf timber.
