防洪工程的稳定与否决定着黄河的安危,而绝大部分险工和控导工程都是依靠石头来抵御洪水的,所以归根到底就是根石基础的稳定。根石断面的不足,是造成工程出险的根本原因。准确掌握根石坡度情况,可以为防洪抢险决策提供重要的参考依据。目前,黄河上一直沿用人工锥探的方法来进行根石探摸,就是人工利用锥杆(由φ16圆钢制成,长约5m)垂直于裹护段向外每2m 一个点向下锥探。通过人体感觉,如遇到石头,往下锥不动,记录其深度,将同一断面所有探测深度绘到图上,得出一个坡
