产业集群是指以市场为导向、相关产品集中生产、专业化协作配套的企业在同一地理区域大量集聚的现象。产业集群对我国经济发展的推动作用巨大。我国经济发展快的地区,都是产业集群发挥作用最大的地区。区域经济发展成功的温州模式、苏南模式、东莞模式等,都是产业集群的成功案例。产业集群还促进了社会就业,加快了城镇化进程,如河北白沟通过发展产业集群,使贫穷落后的小村庄发展成为具有相当规模的城镇,带动了周边乡镇脱贫致富。
Industrial clusters refer to the phenomena of market-oriented, centralized production of related products, and specialized and coordinated enterprises in a large geographical area. Industrial clusters have a huge role in promoting China's economic development. The regions with rapid economic development in China are the regions where industrial clusters play the largest role. The successful Wenzhou model, the Southern Jiangsu model, and the Dongguan model of regional economic development are successful examples of industrial clusters. Industrial clusters have also promoted social employment and accelerated the process of urbanization. For example, Hebei Baigou has developed industrial clusters, making poor and backward small villages develop into towns with considerable scale, which has driven the surrounding towns and villages out of poverty.
