一边看着电视上的选秀节目，一边用手机发微博评论。这样的场景大家应该都不陌生吧？随着便携电子设备的普及，每个家里除了电视机那个大屏幕之外，同时还亮起不少小屏幕，我们将其统称为“第二屏幕”。
Second screen， sometimes also referred to as “companion device”， is a term that refers to an additional electronic device （e.g. tablet， smartphone） that allows a television audience to interact with the content they are consuming， such as TV shows， movies， music， or video games， extra data is displayed on a portable device synchronized with the content being viewed on television.
第二屏幕，有时也被称为“伴侣设备”，指看电视时能同时与电视节目内容互动交流的电子设备，如平板电脑或智能手机等。电视上进行的节目、电影、音乐或者视频游戏等在便携设备上也会有同步的相关内容显示。
真把人“逼疯”了
当某事或某人drive you up the wall的时候，就是说这件事情或人快把你给逼疯了，让你非常烦恼和生气。例如：
This computer is really driving me up the wall. It keeps crashing！
Shopping for jeans drives her up the wall. She can never find a pair that fit her.
You are driving me up the wall！ Will you stop singing that awful song now？

Meat tooth refers to someone’s craving or fondness for meat. This term is a rhyming play on the well-known phrase sweet tooth， a craving or fondness for sweet food， which has been in the language for over 600 years.
Meat tooth指某人爱吃肉。这个说法沿袭了sweet tooth押韵规律，并进一步演绎。Sweet tooth在英语中流传使用已超过600年，是人尽皆知的一个短语，用以形容对甜食的喜爱。例如：
Others craved chocolate or cheesecake； I had a “meat tooth”.

提振精神的group hug
团体类体育项目比赛开始前，各队成员通常都会围成一圈，把手臂搭在身边队友的肩膀上，集体呼喊励志口号来振奋精神。这样的集体行为英语里叫group hug，现在，很多领域的团队都在这样做了。
Sometimes when a group of people or a team is down and they need to cheer themselves up they have a “group hug”.
Usually someone says： “Group hug” or “Let’s have a group hug”. Then the group forms a circle and each participant puts their arms over their neighbors’ shoulders.
有时，团队成员情绪低落，需要提振精神的时候，他们就会来一个“集体拥抱”。
通常都是一个人说“集体拥抱”或“我们来个集体拥抱吧。”然后，整个团队的人围成一圈，每个人都把自己的手臂搭在旁边伙伴的肩膀上。
