确定物体的位置不仅对学生理解、把握、描述现实空间,获得解决实际问题的方法有着重要的价值,而且为发展学生的空间观念提供了丰富的实践素材。两节课都通过创设与贴近学生生活实际的情境,引出如何通过方向和距离确定位置的知识,让孩子的学习在经验激活、利用、调整、提升的过程中实现主动构建,让孩子知道确定位置在生活中的应用,体会数学与日常生活的密切联系。通过创设一个又一个认知冲突,引导学生积极进行探索活动,促进学生主动参与,并在探究的过程中积累活动经验,体会并发展数学思想,培养学生的空间观念。
