The reconstruction of a central shopping mall in Leila was one of the most important reconstruction projects in Paris. It is located in the center of Paris and is called the “stomach” and “heart” of Paris. The central shopping mall here was already in operation as early as the 12th century. The original eight steel and glass halls were designed by V. Baltard in the 1850s and completed in 1866. By 1936 it had been built to 12 seats. The trade fair with a dome on the west side of the mall was designed by Ballangi and built in 1811–1313. It was soon rebuilt because of burning. The St. Eustache Church in the northwest corner of the mall is a Gothic building constructed between 1532-1637. The mall is surrounded by residential quarters from the 17th and 18th centuries, richly decorated doors and windows, a uniform proportion, and a beautiful roof profile, showing the ancient and elegant style of the central area of Paris.
