阅读理解是个复杂的心理活动过程,在这个过程中,读者往往借助“自下而上”和“自上而下”两种信息加工方式的交互作用来解读阅读内容。因此,图式理论将阅读过程解释为读者所具备的背景知识和阅读材料相互作用的过程。本文首先阐述了图式理论的基本观点,进而分析和探讨了阅读理解的心理过程,然后指出了图式对阅读理解的作用。最后揭示了图式理论对外语教学的启示。
Reading comprehension is a complicated process of psychological activity. In this process, readers often interpret reading content through the interaction of two kinds of information processing methods: “bottom-up” and “top-down”. Therefore, schema theory interprets reading process as the process of interaction between reader’s background knowledge and reading material. This paper first expounds the basic view of schema theory, and then analyzes and discusses the psychological process of reading comprehension, and then points out the function of schema in reading comprehension. Finally reveals the enlightenment of schema theory to foreign language teaching.
