在中国加入WTO、国内电信业高呼“狼来了”之际,深圳中兴通讯公司成为首个迈出国门,参与国外电信运营的民族企业。日前,非洲刚果民主共和国的刚中电信(CCT)网络开始试运行。这是中兴通讯与刚果政府成立的合资企业,共同发展刚果的移动通信、国内长途电话、国际汇接等通信业务。 刚中合作运营项目是中国政府对外优惠贷款支持的第一个成套电信项目。该项目可追溯到1997年刚果前总统率团访
With China’s accession to the WTO and the domestic telecommunications industry shouting “the wolf is coming,” ZTE Corporation of Shenzhen became the first national enterprise to take part in foreign countries and participate in foreign telecom operations. Recently, the CCT network in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa started its trial operation. This is a joint venture established by ZTE and the Congolese government to jointly develop Congolese communications services such as mobile communications, domestic long distance calls and international convergence. The cooperation project between the two countries is the first complete telecommunications project supported by the Chinese government’s favorable foreign loans.
