笔者以前是一位较严重的慢性鼻炎患者,而且由于母亲患有此病,导致我们兄弟姐妹,只是严重与不严重之区别,基本上每个人都有此病。记得从10来岁开始发病一直到30多岁,严重的鼻炎多年骚扰得我日不舒畅、夜不安宁。嗅觉失灵,经常头痛,两个鼻孔就象有两堵墙堵死一样,一点不能透气。正常性的呼吸都从嘴巴里经过。造成两唇干裂,舌燥喉干,此病给我带来的痛苦,并非非鼻炎患者所能体会。为了解除病患,我到处求医问药,所谓灵丹妙药,用过不少,然不管怎样耗费精力和财力,均无济无事,顽固的鼻炎就象幽灵一样紧紧追随于我,想根除此病,前景渺茫。1977年,本人开始从事茶业,在基层收购站里搞茶叶收购感官审评工作。每年从春茶上市开始至10月底茶季结束,半年里天天都和茶叶打交道。起初评茶嗅香气,由于鼻炎严重,嗅觉失灵,分不清香气、浊气或异味,但在热溴时只感觉鼻孔内发痒,一股热汽直往脑门上冲,马上反应打喷嚏,而后觉鼻塞缓解,继续用热茶汤
