《云南果梅商品生产基地栽培技术实施方案》强调:“基地造林苗木应自己培育梅砧嫁接苗……”但目前我省产区还习惯实生繁殖,不少梅区还采用桃砧、李砧和杏砧繁殖梅苗。这对今后的梅子生产发展不利。调查证明,桃、李、杏砧部不如梅砧好,因为它们和接穗在内部形态结构上,生理和遗传特性上,彼此都有一定的差异性,甚至不能真正地亲和。
