The first academic conference of China Neural Network was jointly launched by China Artificial Intelligence Society, Psychological Society, Institute of Electronics, Computer Society, Institute of Biophysics, Automation Society, Physics Society and Communication Society. It was held in Beijing from December 10 to December 12, 1990. More than 400 scientific and technological workers from 20 related provinces and cities came together to exchange their research results, analyze the development situation, coordinate research directions and discuss the development strategy of China’s neural network research work. The research of neural network began in the 1940s with the purpose of clarifying the working mechanism of human brain neural network and implementing the function of human brain processing information in the technical system so as to manufacture intelligent computers and intelligent robots. Although the research on neural network in our country started relatively late,
