Maxi m introduces the MAX13223E dual channel RS232 transceiver with ± 70 V fault protection. The MAX13223E is pin-compatible with the industry-standard MAX3223E and is an RS232 transceiver with overvoltage protection. The device integrates ± 70 V fault protection on the RS232 interface pins, eliminating the need for external fault protection circuitry such as self-healing fuses and zener diodes. Integrated fault protection for the same cable transmission
