From the late 1980s to the early 1990s, video recorders can be described as a dazzling “star” on the Chinese home appliance market. The popularity of the video recorder is as good as that of today’s exceptionally popular VCDs. However, in the past few years, the domestic VCR market has passed its peak, and the sales situation has been rapidly deteriorating. As of this year, the decline of video recorder market is on the rise. VCR market from Sheng to decline, for many reasons. First, the advent of VCD claimed the majority of the video recorder market. Since 1994, VCD player has entered the market as a new home theater device. As VCD software is more video-rich, popular video quality on the market is also superior to ordinary video tape, combined with software prices
