坚持正确的舆论导向中一个最突出的问题就是要把握好对社会热点的宣传,社会热点是人们对改革开放新举措,经济生活新变化和国内外重大事件十分关注而认识又不很一致的反映,是一种客观存在。特别是在特定时空条件下,集中凝聚成的社会所普遍关注的焦点,包括各个层面思想上的热点,认识上的疑点,理解上的难点等等。随着改革的深入和经济体制的转换,各种新情况、新问题大量涌现。对此作为新闻媒体的报刊,既不可回避,又不能盲目宣传。正确的态度是敢于接触,善于引导,宏观定向,具体分析,区别对待,讲究艺术。这些“度”的把握,对肩负编发职责的老年报刊的编辑来说,责任是十分重大的。下面仅就我们在编辑工作中处理热点问题的三种方式,略作表述,以期抛砖引玉。

The grasping of these “degrees” is of great importance to the editors of the older newspapers who have the responsibility of compilation and distribution.
