泰安市泰山区自1995年4月以区政府名义下发《关于城镇县以下集体企业、私营企业职工和个体工商户社会保险试行办法》。至今,参加养老保险的处乡、街居、私营企业达到315个,职工11000多人,覆盖面达到这类企业的80%,积累养老保险基金1693万元,现已有150多名参加保险的职工办理了退休手续,按月领取退休费。经过几年的努力,泰山区扩大养老保险覆盖面工作得到政府肯定,社会支持,职工欢迎,企业满意。泰山区扩大养老保险覆盖面工作为何这样红火关键在于指导思想对路、政策措施对头。
