为纪念广东省档案馆新馆落成,广东省档案局和广东省邮政局共同设计和发行了一套以档案为主题的纪念邮票。这套纪念邮票由4幅图案组成,画面为:广东省档案馆新馆大楼、广东群报、粤海关档案和粤东省图。整版票配以广州市市花,木棉花图案,左主票为国家邮政局新近推出的天安门图案。这套邮票带有票封,票封为折页形式,同样选择了四幅图案。票封封面为,广东省档案馆新馆大楼;票封封二为,广东省档案馆简介;票封封三为老照片底;票封底为,五羊图。据悉,该套纪念邮票由国家邮政局审核后,委托广东省邮政局发行。这套邮票创下了,邮史上以“档案馆”落成为主题,上纪念邮票的先河。记者从有关方面了解到,该纪念票由于发行数量有限,大部分将用来赠送。所以,这套纪念票和它的实际封,将具有一定的收藏价值。
