There is a language teacher asks: Is “the latest 15 days reply” is a sick sentence? “After” the latest is not an accurate time word? Obviously, this is a lot of language teachers, especially the The grammar of the headache of the Chinese teacher who is debuting under the desalinated grammar context is wrongly judging the problem. Such problems are not uncommon. Some teachers think this is a sick sentence, “inner ” redundant word. I think this question is right and wrong for the following reasons: In general, such sentences are generated in a particular context, which is the reply to the inquirer or potential inquirer. For example, A Q: When is the latest answer? B said: the latest fifteen days reply. Or say, up to fifteen days reply.
