我省为了传达与贯彻全国中学教育会议的精神和决议,检查总结一九五三年的工作,具体确定今年的任务,使全省中等教育工作能更有效地为总任务服务。于四月卅日至五月十六日召开了全省第四次中等学校校长会议。出席这次会议的有各市传教育(文教)局、科长,各中等学校校长,省、传重点学校教导主任,各专署中等教育视导组长、部分学校班主任及有关业务部门教育科(处)等负责人,共二百廿一人。华北行政委员会教育局、卫生局、华北文教委员会高教处亦派员出席指导。兹将会议的情况和解决的重要问题报告如下:
