1995年6月16日至18日,上海复旦大学、上海戏剧学院和中央戏剧学院在复旦大学共同举办了全国第六届奥尼尔学术研讨会,共有60多位奥尼尔专家以及从事奥尼尔戏剧研究的青年教师和研究生参加,并由上海戏剧学院上演奥尼尔的《进入黑夜的漫长旅程》,中央戏剧学院上演奥尼尔的《悲悼》,其盛况实属空前。专家们早就盼望在研讨会上演出奥尼尔的剧本,以利于与会者的研究工作;但是前几次研讨会都未能满足专家们的要求,这次演出对他们来说也是一件喜出望外的事情,因此他们感到特别高兴。无论在会议室内,还是在剧场里面,自始至终都洋溢着赏析戏剧艺术的欢乐气氛。在三天的研讨会上,有些专家宣读了他们的论文摘要,更多的专家则对这些摘要进行了讨
From June 16 to June 18, Shanghai Fudan University, Shanghai Theater Academy and Central Academy of Drama co-hosted the 6th O’Neill Symposium in Fudan University, with more than 60 O’Neill experts and young teachers engaged in O’Neill’s theater studies And graduate students attended the “long journey into the darkness” by O’Neill at the Shanghai Theater Academy. The grand performance of O’Neill’s “mourning” by the Central Academy of Drama was unprecedented. Experts have long hoped to present O’Neill’s script at the seminar in favor of the participants’ research; however, the previous seminars failed to meet the needs of the experts and the performance was an extraordinarily good thing for them So they feel particularly happy. Whether in the conference room, or in the theater, from beginning to end are full of appreciation of the joy of theater art atmosphere.
