本文介绍一个改装苏联ГУТ-Со-400-1型治疗机的设计。可将医疗用的钴疗机改成大、小射野两用,以便作急性放射病的大动物实验。改装后既不影响平时医疗使用,又可提高机器的利用率。改装的方法比较简单,所用材料易于获得,加工也不困难,改装后仍可使用原来的长距离自动控制装量。改装前射线仅能由一个顶角约等于18°的圆锥形窗洞射出,在一米远处圆形射野平面的直径约等于30厘米,因此不能用于大动物照射实验。改装后钴源可以全暴露于防护壳外,最小的一侧的射线张角力120°,在一米远处可以得到直径为80厘米、均匀度不劣于15%的圆形射野。这样,仅在两侧便可同时照射4—8只狗。
This article describes the design of a modified ГУТ-Со-400-1 treatment machine. Medical treatment of cobalt can be changed into large and small radio field dual purpose, in order to make acute animal experiments of large animals. After modification does not affect the usual medical use, but also improve the utilization of the machine. Modification method is relatively simple, easy to get the materials used, processing is not difficult, the modified can still use the original long-distance automatic control loading. The pre-retroreflected ray can only be emitted from a conical window with a vertex angle of about 18 °. The diameter of the circular field plane equals about 30 cm at a distance of one meter and therefore can not be used for large animal exposure experiments. After the modification, the cobalt source can be fully exposed outside the protective shell. The radiation angle of the smallest side is 120 °, and at a distance of one meter, a circular arc field with a diameter of 80 cm and a uniformity of not less than 15% can be obtained. In this way, 4-8 dogs can be irradiated simultaneously on only two sides.
