1964年10月16日15时,中国西部一声巨响,火球光芒四射,随即向空中升腾翻滚,变成一片巨大的蘑菇云.中国第一颗原子弹爆炸成功了!喜讯传来,多少人热泪盈眶,多少人欢呼跳跃.人们热烈庆祝我国首次核试验成功的伟大胜利!欢呼中国人民依靠自己的能力制造的原子弹试验成功了!帝国主义的核垄断、核诈政策破产了!企图使中国人民屈服于某种压力的指望落空了!当时人们激动的心情,至今令人难以忘怀.毛泽东说:在今天的世界上,我们要不受人家欺负,就不能没有这个东西.新中国自成立之日起,就面临着帝国主义的核威协、核恐吓.
