下颌骨髁突骨折的治疗方法包括手术治疗和非手术治疗,两者各有优缺点及适应证,至今国内外学者在治疗方法选择问题上仍存有争议。随着外科技术的提高和固定方法的改进,手术变得比以往更加可靠,疗效评价更为全面,更加注重远期疗效,手术适应证也逐步放宽,故近些年国内外文献报道中也大多倾向于手术治疗,选择内镜下进行手术也不断增多;但是,手术治疗需要较高的手术技巧和正确选择适应证。
