为了认真学习领会十五大精神,用十五大精神和邓小平理论统一广大团员青年的思想行动,总行机关于10月22日至24日举办了团员青年学习、贯彻十五大精神学习班。学习班上,机关党委常务副书记左志同志作了“建设有中国特色社会主义事业与当代中国青年的历史使命”的学习动员报告。左志同志说,跨世纪的竞争归根到底是人才的竞争,人才的竞争也就是青年素质的竞争。当今世界以经济和科技为基础的综合国力的竞争日趋激烈,这种竞争在很大程度上取决于人才的数量和质量,因此当代中国青年既面临着巨大的挑战,又拥有一个广阔发展的前所未有的历史舞台。十五大给当代青年提出了更高的要求,也提供了更多的机遇,在当前改革、建设、发展的时代里,青年人应抓住机遇,努力完善自己,提高自身素质,适应时代的需要,使自已的才能得到最大限度的发挥。左志同志还就我行青年如何认真学习领会十五大精神,认真做好本职工作,努力提高自身素质提出了要求。朱利副行长出席了学习班,进行了指导,并就十五大精神的学习和机关共青团工作等问题与团员青年进行了亲切座谈。他针对机关团的建设和青年工作,提出了三点建议和希望。
