党和国家非常重视老年人的合法权益,制定了一系列保护老年人合法权益的法规,特别是《老年人权益保障法》规定得更为明确、具体。为了让老年人掌握和运用保护自己合法权益的法律武器,现将其归纳为以下十个方面:一、老年人有从国家和社会获得物质帮助的权利,有享受社会发展成果的权利。禁止歧视、侮辱、虐待或者遗弃老年人。
