This article discusses the relationship between the compilation of “Xu Guangqi Collection” and “Xu Guangqi’s Chronicle” and Chen Yuan; the evaluation of Liang Jia-mian by Chen Yuan and Wang Zhong-min; and the style of study by Chen Yuan, Wang Zhong-min and Liang Jia-mian.
