遵照毛主席“不断向生产的深度和广度进军”的伟大教导,为了探讨育苗移栽技术,促进粮食增产,1973年对我县重点推广的1500多亩玉米、高粱育苗移栽进行了调查:一、移栽增产的效果汉村公社汉村试验站、步昌公社步昌试验站和双泉公社西一五队小面积对比试验结果,移栽玉米白单4号亩产均达千斤以上,平均亩产为1102.4斤,比移栽期直播的每亩增产270—325.5斤,增产33—41.3%.
