自从Arther(1891)首次报道小麦品种对赤霉病的抗性存在差异以来,世界各小麦产区都开展了大量的品种抗性鉴定工作,筛选出一批抗(耐)病品种和抗源在生产和育种上应用,对控制赤霉病的危害起了积极的作用。由于河南省是赤霉病的偶发区,过去选育和推广小麦品种,只注重对小麦锈病和白粉病的抗性,因而导致近几年我省赤霉病连续发生。因此,我们1984—1987年利用本省菌系对我省现行推广的小麦品种和一批有希望的品系进行抗赤霉病性鉴定,希望筛选出抗病良种和抗源材料,为生产上品种的合理布局和抗病育种提供可靠依据。
