一、前言 活塞环虽然从外形上看是非常简单的零件,只是作为两个同心往复运动表面之间的环形密封,但在现代柴油机中起着复杂的作用。在燃气一侧的环境是恶劣的,因此在发动机循环的各个阶段以及各种使用条件下,在两个表面之间保持连续油膜是困难的。尽管如此,在长时期的使用中还必须具有低的磨损率以延长使用寿命。 这个难密封的问题通常采用中磷铸铁活塞环和类似成分的缸套配合来解决。然而随着战后柴油机的发展,需要采用表面耐磨的活塞环镀层和高强度材料。
I. Introduction Piston Rings, although very simple in appearance, act only as annular seals between two concentric reciprocating surfaces, but play a complex role in modern diesel engines. The environment on the gas side is harsh and therefore it is difficult to maintain a continuous oil film between the two surfaces at all stages of the engine cycle and under various conditions of use. In spite of this, it is also necessary to have a low wear rate in the long-term use in order to prolong the service life.
