很多学者认为,柏拉图《理想国》中对社会阶层的分工,贯穿着不平等的思想,书中将城邦公民分为三类,并且不允许社会阶层的上下流动,分工一旦确定,下层公民就再无翻身之日。笔者不赞同这种看法,柏拉图并没有如此刻意地划分阶层,而是依据个人所凸显的先天优势来区分社会阶层的。柏拉图理想之国构建的理念与理想人格构建的理念是相似的,国家就是一个人格化的主体。正义即“各在其位,各司其职”。
