阴道滴虫病是妇女另一种常见的传染性疾病,毛滴虫是它的病原体,其形状象个鸭梨,比人的白细胞稍大,头部有4根鞭毛,所以被称为毛滴虫。滴虫常寄生于女性的阴道或男性的尿道、前列腺内,常会引起阴道炎症,发病率仅次于真菌性阴道炎。 阴道毛滴虫的传播方式有两种:一是直接方式,通过性行为被性伴侣传染,男女间可互相传染;其次为间接万式,如共用浴盆和浴巾,用井水或河水冲洗阴部及在室内游泳池游泳,或使用别人的内裤、坐便器等。
