天津人爱吃鱼是远近闻名的,有人戏称老天津卫人为“猫”,天津人也不以为忤。老天津还有句民谚,叫“当当(借钱)买海货,不算不会过”。可见嗜腥之程度。 天津人爱吃鱼与地理位置有关。天津地处九河下梢,河流纵横,洼地较多,解放前长年积水,素有“水套子”之称,又近海口。有水就有鱼,鱼产丰盛,为天津人捕鱼吃鱼提供了条件。我小时就生长在这片鱼水之乡,对于天津人之捕鱼、食自略知一二,现向大家介绍一点有关鱼的乐趣。
