由湖北省计量测试研究所和湖北省玻璃仪器厂等四个单位共同研制的“BYG-1型标准压缩式高真空测量装置于1984年4月11日至4月15日在武昌召开了鉴定会。来自全国各地的科研、高校、工厂等39个单位59名代表参加了大会。与会代表听取了研制单位的研制报告和测试小组的测试报告。经过认真的讨论以后,与会代表认为:该装置数据完整、结构合理。由于采用了激光测高,应用了激光干涉法观察小室刀口处汞面拉平的程度,从而提高了测量精度,使麦氏计测量下限延伸了两个数量级。
