Since the acquisition of Bay Networks in June last year, Nortel Networks has officially entered the data networking market and became the first vendor to integrate communications and data products. Earlier this year, Nortel Networks officially changed its name from Nortel to Nortel Networks. According to Arthur MacDonald, senior vice president of Nortel Networks, all of this is to establish a new corporate identity: Come Together (to come together) and construct Unified Networks.
