太平天国严禁洋烟(太平天国时期称鸦片为洋烟)的历史背景说明鸦片在当时中国社会流通的泛滥性及危害的严重性。太平天国严令戒洋烟的主张与严惩措施,使禁烟取得了巨大成效,也充分体现了洪秀全的爱国主义思想。
The historical background of the prohibition of foreign smoke in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom during the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom (that is, opium as foreign smoke) shows the seriousness of the proliferation and harm of opium at that time in the Chinese society. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom advocated and severely punished the policy of eliminating foreign cigarettes and made a great achievement in banning smoking. It fully reflected Hong Xiuquan’s patriotism.
