金优217水稻系湘西自治州农业科学研究所选育而成。2003年通过湖南省农作物品种审定委员会审定,适宜在湘西海拔600米以下地区作中稻种植。该品种株高108.5厘米,植株整齐,分蘖力强,茎秆粗壮,繁茂性好,株型较紧凑,穗大粒多,剑叶直立,穗长24.93厘米,每穗实粒数155粒,结实率88.83%,
Jinyou 217 rice is from Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture Institute of Agricultural Science bred. In 2003 through the Hunan Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee validated, suitable for planting rice in the area below 600 meters above sea level in western Hunan. The plant height 108.5 cm, tidy plants, strong tillers, stalks sturdy, good lodging, more compact plant type, more spike large, vertical flag leaves, spike length 24.93 cm, the number of grains per spike 155, the seed setting rate 88.83%
