Methods Fourteen patients of dermatoses complicated with HIV/AIDS were admitted to our hospital between 2000 and 2017. Their characteristics of clinical manifestations of the skin and mucosa and laboratory examinations were analyzed retrospectively. Results Among these fourteen inpatients, the ratio of males to females was 13:1, and the mean age was 44.6±12.4 years-old. There were five cases of psoriasis (35.7%), five cases of eczema (35.7%), and two cases of drug eruption (14.3%). The clinical and histopathologic manifestations of most of these patients had no distinct features. Conclusion Patients with HIV/AIDS are usually accompanied by dermatoses, and their clinical and histopathologic features are not obvious. Dermatologists should be alert to such manifestations in order to reduce the risk of occupational exposure.
