梁启超在北京的故居一直是学界颇有争议的话题。目前,官方承认的梁启超在北京的故居只有一处,即今天东直门内南小街北沟沿胡同23号。对于这一定论学界是有诸多的异议。因为在许多公开发表研究梁启超的资料中都可看到“南长街54号”的身影,那么“南长街54号”到底是个什么样子?它和梁启超有哪些关系?它应是梁启超在北京的故居吗?伴随这批档案的公布,势必会引发新的思考。“南长街54号”梁氏档案共包括信札、手稿、书籍、器物四大类。
