1931年“九·一八”事变后,日本帝国主义侵占了我国整个东北,旋即又把侵略魔爪伸向华北,紧靠东北的冀东地区首遭其祸。唐山是华北最重要的工业城市之一,产业工人集中,这里党的组织建立和工人运动的开展都较早,我们党历来重视对唐山工运的领导。
After the “September 18” incident in 1931, the Japanese imperialists invaded the entire northeast of our country and immediately once again turned their aggressive claws toward north China and the eastern part of northeastern Jidong. Tangshan is one of the most important industrial cities in North China. Industrial workers are concentrated. Party building and labor movement here are all started earlier. Our party has always attached great importance to the leadership of the workers movement in Tangshan.
