淮河正阳关以上扩大行洪通道工程,从1987年开始实施以来,已经进行了8年。据统计至1993年底止,淮干整治及堤防加固工程已完成投资6.84亿元,占计划总投资63.4％,其中安徽省部分完成投资5.08亿元(包括中央、地方投资),占计划总投资66.0％。目前已完成邱家湖、姜家湖、唐垛湖束水河段退建工程和润赵段废弃工程;南润段和城西湖局部束水河段退堤工程正在积极进行;濛洼尾部退建工程也即将实施。预计在今后二三年内,这些扩大行洪通道退堤工程将全部完成。
