Digital宣布将参与Microsoft于8月25、27、29日分别在北京、上海和广州举行的Windows NT Server企业版及Exchange 5.0中文版发布会,Digital产品将配合Microsoft展出与Windows NT Server企业版和Exchange 5.0的应用解决方案,其中包括:大容量内存系统、面向Internet的TB级SQL服务器和MS Exchange服务器。 Alpha服务器问世后,服务器的物理内存已经不是影响网络反应速度的障碍,因此提高网络操作系统对地址空间的管理能力便成为软件商亟待解决的问题。Windows NT企业版面向企业级客户,具有支持64位超大规模内存的能力。
Digital announced that it will participate in Microsoft’s Windows NT Server Enterprise Edition and Exchange 5.0 Chinese Edition conference held in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou on August 25th, 27th and 29th respectively. Digital products will cooperate with Microsoft and Windows NT Server Enterprise Edition. Exchange 5.0 application solutions, including: large-capacity memory systems, Internet-facing terabyte-class SQL servers, and MS Exchange servers. After the advent of the Alpha server, the server’s physical memory is not an obstacle to the speed of the network response. Therefore, improving the ability of the network operating system to manage the address space has become a problem that software vendors must solve. Windows NT Enterprise Edition is targeted at enterprise customers and has the ability to support 64-bit hyperscale memory.
