据英国德鲁里航运咨询有限公司的一项报告称,未来几年里中国的集装箱航运量将增长3倍。预测未来几年中国运进和运出的集装箱航运量将可达到1200万TEU。这一预计中尚不包括香港的集装箱航运量,香港的集装箱航运量1993年为1250万TEU,预计在本世纪末将增长一倍。香港港务当局预计,2011年前香港的港口吞吐量将达到3200万TEU。
According to a report by Drury Shipping Consulting Ltd in the United Kingdom, China’s container shipping volume will tripled in the next few years. It is predicted that China will import and export container shipping volume of 12 million TEUs in the coming years. This estimate does not yet include the volume of container shipping in Hong Kong. The volume of container shipping in Hong Kong was 12.5 million TEUs in 1993 and is expected to double by the end of this century. Hong Kong’s port authorities estimate that Hong Kong’s port throughput will reach 32 million TEUs by 2011.
