Western blotting was used to detect the effect of growth hormone on the microsomal cytochrome P4504A2 in rat kidney. Rat renal microsomal cytochrome P450 and liver, the same species, gender-specific. Normal male rat renal microsomal cytochrome P4504A2 content than female rats. The content of cytochrome P4504A2 in renal microsomes in male and female rats with hypophysectomy was significantly higher than that in normal control rats, but the difference between male and female rats was not obvious. The level of renal P4504A2 in male rats was still higher than that in normal male rats by glutamate sodium (MSG) injury, whereas the level of renal P4504A2 in MSG-treated female rats was significantly lower than that in normal female rats. The results showed that growth hormone may have a direct regulatory effect on the kidney of rats P4504A2, while the effects on the cytochrome P4504A2 in the kidney of rats are more complicated.
