一百多年前,刘建封率员对长白山进行踏查,留下了重要的著作《长白山江冈志略》。与此同时,还对考察中的所见所闻以诗吟咏,名为《白山纪咏》。今从《长白山江冈志略》引证的诗文中,发现了许多关于长白山历史文化的相关内容,可以作为以诗证史的又一范例。在纪念刘建封踏查长白山一百周年之际,张福有先生率长白山文化研究会学人沿刘建封踏查之路考察一过,完成《白山纪咏》续诗,为研究长白山历史文化增添了重要的历史文化资料。
