周尊圣是“天山山水画”风格的开创者,其作品以红色激情泼洒生命的旋律,浸透出一派独有的悲壮、苍凉、雄强、阳刚之美。他所创新的山水画笔墨图式蕴藏着丰富的精神内涵,由“天山红”到“中国红”的转变更是将“天山山水画”升华到承载中国文化的高度。著名美术评论家薛永年先生曾经评价说:“周尊圣为中国山水画的发展打开了一个新领域”。作为有文化责任感的当代国画家,近十年来他的笔墨语言愈加老练,个性化艺术风格日益凸显,一系列具有时代气息的创新之作为中国传统山水画的现代发展做出了重要贡献,也奠定了他在当代山水画坛中的重要地位。
Zhou Zun Sheng is the pioneer of the style of Tianshan Mountain Landscape. His works are sprinkling the rhythm of life with red passion and infiltrating the unique tragedy, desolation, magnificentness and masculine beauty. His innovative landscape painting contains a lot of spiritual connotations. The transformation from “Tianshan Red” to “Red China” even sublimates “Tianshan Landscape Painting” to the level that carries Chinese culture. Mr. Xue Yongnian, a famous art critic once commented: “Zhou Zun Sheng opened a new field for the development of Chinese landscape painting.” As a contemporary painter with a sense of cultural responsibility, his pen and ink language has become more and more sophisticated over the past decade. As a result, his individualized artistic style has become increasingly prominent. A series of contemporary innovations have made an important contribution to the modern development of traditional Chinese landscape painting. He is in an important position in contemporary landscape painting.
