视觉与图像:关于形式分析的一场论争

形式分析是艺术研究的重要方法,风格学理论的出发点是创作过程的观看方式。沃尔夫林使用了这个概念但没有分析其科学性和有效性,导致形式分析方法论受到质疑、否定甚至放弃。论文从“眼睛到思想”、“内容和形式”这些概念区分入手探析图像学家潘诺夫斯基对沃尔夫林“双重根源”的批判,指出沃尔夫林新康德主义的哲学立场以及对历史发展做出的心理学解释,揭示这两位伟大的艺术史家艺术史观的根本分野所在。

Formal analysis is an important method of art research. The starting point of stylistic theory is the way of viewing the creative process. Wolfflin used this notion but did not analyze its scientificity and validity, leading to the formal analysis methodology being challenged, denied or even abandoned. The dissertation starts from the distinction between “eyes to thoughts”, “content and form” to analyze the critique of Wolfin ’s “double root” by the image scientist Panovsky, pointing out that Wolflin Kantian philosophical position and made a psychological interpretation of historical development, reveals the two great art historians of the historical art view of the fundamental differences.
