食品安全标准既可能促进也可能抑制国际贸易。文章在重力模型的基础上采用Tobit估计处理双边贸易零值,就食品安全标准对我国谷物出口贸易的影响进行了实证分析。结果发现:(1)进口国的食品安全标准对我国谷物出口具有抑制作用,这一结论不随进口国收入水平和食品安全标准度量指标的改变而改变。(2)我国的食品安全标准对我国谷物出口总体而言也具有抑制作用。因此,我国应当完善农产品质量安全保障体系,加强农产品进出口的标准化工作。
Food safety standards can either promote or inhibit international trade. Based on the gravity model, the article deals with the zero value of bilateral trade using Tobit estimation, and analyzes the impact of food safety standards on China’s grain export trade. The results showed that: (1) The food safety standards of the importing countries have an inhibitory effect on China’s cereal exports. This conclusion does not change with the changes of the income level of importing countries and the measurement of food safety standards. (2) China’s food safety standards also have an inhibitory effect on China’s cereal exports as a whole. Therefore, our country should perfect the quality and safety guarantee system of agricultural products and strengthen the standardization of import and export of agricultural products.
