荀子非常强调礼宪在个人及社会、国家中的作用,因而极具客观精神。他的明道、宗经、征圣的文学观及“隆礼义而杀诗书”和“为其人以处之”理论是其客观精神在其诗乐观中的外显。
Xunzi places great emphasis on the role of courtesy in the individual and in society and in the country. Therefore, Xunzi is highly objective. His theory of Ming Tao, Zong Jing, Zheng literary view and “ritual killing poems” and “serving others for his own place” are the manifestations of his objective spirit in his poetical optimism.
