In the past two years, practical problems in mathematics have appeared again in high exam questions. In 1993, there were four questions for greeting card distribution, lighting, product sampling, and swimming pool construction. In 1994, there were three questions such as bacterial reproduction, task allocation, and physical quantity measurement. In order to adapt to the trend of mathematics education reform, the mathematics test questions of the college entrance examination will be appropriately strengthened year by year to examine the practical application of mathematics. The college entrance examination propositions carry out the principle of “belonging to textbooks, higher than Tan”.
