河北省林学会第七次代表大会于1995年12月6日在承德市召开,出席这次会议的有,省林业厅、省科协、中国林学会、承德市党政领导和省直单位及11个市(地)的代表,共计60余人.省林业厅厅长,第七届理事会理事长李兴源同志,代表理事会作了我省林业形势和学会工作报告,省林业厅副厅长宋墨禄同志作了会议总结,省科协副主席刘秀华同志作了热情洋溢的讲话,为学会改革指出了方向.中国林学会办公室主任李岩泉同志,承德市委副书记王永泰同志,市政府副秘书长张跃邦同志,市科协主席袁广德同志,副主席贾旺诸同志到会祝贺.在此会议上,与会代表认真审议了七届理事会的工作报告,选举产生了第八届理事会,新的理事会有49人组成,经过理事会选举,产生由11人组成的常务理事会.在第八届常务理事会第一次会议上推选出了正、副理事长,秘书长,名誉理事长和顾问.
