本刊第九期刊登了《生命因贫困而过早成熟》一文后,引起了全国小读者的强烈反映,有写信,有打电话,有发E-mil的,对佘艳的遭遇和顽强勇敢的精神表示了深切的同情、钦佩和学习的态度。武汉市育才二小五(6)班的陈馨怡、湖北宜昌葛洲坝实验小学六(4)班的张冬翔不仅给佘艳写了慰问信,还各自寄给佘艳十元钱,以表示他们的爱心。由于来信很多,一时很难拿出更多的篇幅来刊登,只好摘用其中几则有代表性的,请大家见谅。——编者
